Well Screen
The
3/4" size is the first screen to allow
larger sampling equipment than will fit in
commonly used 1/2" direct push wells.
Usable inside most 2" or 2-1/8" direct
push casing, or can be installed in an open
hole. Each section is flush threaded with an
o-ring seal for assembly of longer screens.
Either end attaches directly to CMP Anchor
Points; flush threaded end plugs are
available. The other sizes have the same design
as the 3/4" but are made to install larger
wells inside a larger hole or casing.

10 PrePack Well Screens
Plus 10 PrePak Screen have a high open area
to cut down on waiting for samples in low-yield
wells.
With
10 times the open area and 10 times the
filtration capacity, these 20% open area screens
are ideal for Long Term Monitoring (LTM) of
natural attenuation using low purge or passive
sampling. High open area minimizes stagnant
water to cut sampling time in low-yield wells.
UltraFine filter pack can reduce turbidity by
orders of magnitude and remove silt size
particles, preventing siltation of the well.

Jacket
These
unique jackets slip over your 3/4" to
2" slotted screen, making one-pass well
installation using direct push easier and more
economical. Stainless steel mesh retains a pack
of Standard (20x40), Fine (40x70) or UltraFine
(120) mesh silica filter sand. 30" long
units can be stacked for longer screen
intervals. Use your screen and casing, save on
shipping and insure thread compatibility.
UltraFine jackets can reduce turbidity by orders
of magnitude.

Economy Prepack Screen makes the modular
approach to direct push well installation more
cost effective and convenient for you.

ECT introduces a new product that
makes the modular approach to direct push well
installation more cost effective and convenient
for you. Currently, you probably use prepack
screens and annular seals for two reasons.
Either your client specifies their use, or you
need the precise placement of the filter
pack/annular seal provided by our modular
components. You probably appreciate the speed
and ease of installation but find the components
costly for routine use.
To fill this void
(pardon the pun), we have developed the new
Economy Prepak Screen. Construction is identical
to our standard PrePak Screen but inert, food
grade plastic mesh is substituted for the
stainless steel mesh outer screen. These units
are available in the same sizes and have the
same dimensions, open area and performance of
our stainless steel screens at about ½ the
price. They are ideal for use on petroleum sites
or sites where cost is a primary concern. Like
our Standard PrePak, they will save you the
valuable field time required to properly install
a filter pack and annular seal.

Well Screen For Metals
Designed
specifically for sampling metals in groundwater,
the PrePak Well Screen doesn't have any metal
components.
ECT
has developed a new PrePak Well Screen designed
specifically for sampling metals in groundwater.
The new screen uses an UltraFine filter sand
(120 mesh) sandwiched between two layers of food
grade plastic mesh. It can substantially reduce
sample turbidity by filtering out particles ten
times smaller than possible with standard filter
packed wells and prepack screens. No metal
components are used, eliminating potential
interference with metals analysis. The product
is currently available in ¾-inch through 2-inch
pipe sizes with outside dimensions sized to fit
inside commonly available direct push drive
casing. The 2-inch PrePak Metals Screen can also
be installed using hollow stem augers to reduce
turbidity.
