Premium grade monitoring well manhole. Fully watertight, one-piece cast iron ring and skirt. Permanent black triangle on white warning decal with brass well plate for tamping well number. Buna-N seal (replaceable). Stainless steel bolt machined with o-ring groove, made to say on cover when removed.

418 Series - Limited Access Manholes
Round manholes with bolted and gasketed cover. Used for access ports in driveways where limited access and/or water-resistant conditions are required. Bolts are standard hex head stainless steel. Gaskets are Buna-N. These manholes are available in a variety of sizes and cover styles as shown. (Pictured: 418, 418XA, 418TM, 418XAW)

418XA, 418XAP, 418XAS and 418XAH
The 418XA has of a cast iron lid and rim, replaceable buna-N gasket, galvanized sheet metal skirt, and stainless steel bolts. Lugs on the inside of body rim are threaded for bolts to draw lid down tight. Bolted cover provides weathertight seal and “limited access” feature. The 418XAP has a painted cover. The 418XAS has a steel cover and is available in 8"x12" and 12"x12" sizes. The 418XAH has a 14-gauge heavy skirt and nylon washers, available in 9"x7" and 9"x12" sizes.

318 Series - Round Manholes
Round manholes with non-bolted cover. Used for access ports in driveways where limited access and/or water-tight conditions are not required. These manholes are available in a variety of sizes and cover styles as shown

318 and 318XA
The 318 and 318XA consist of a cast iron lid and cast iron rim riveted to a galvanized sheet metal skirt. The 318 24" and 36" sizes consist of a fabricated and painted steel rim, cover and skirt. It has a non-bolted cover and is used for access ports in driveways where limited access and/or watertight conditions are not required.

9" and 12" covers are cast iron.
18" and 24" = 3/8" four-way floor plate.
36" = 1/2" four way floor plate.

A “TEST WELL” warning is cast directly on the 318XA lid. This manhole provides a simple, economical box for monitoring wells in cases when “limited access” or “watertight” features are not needed.
